Monday Pool and Snooker Club
Opportunity for disabled people (aged 16 upwards) to play table tennis, snooker, pool and darts in a social setting. The club runs every Monday from 6.30pm - 8.30pm at University Academy Keighley (UAK), BD20 6EB. Please pre-book your place by contacting Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure.
Monday Sports Academy
High quality sports provision for disabled young people aged 12 - 22 years old. The club provides opportunity to take part in a range of sports. The club runs term time on Monday's at Manningham Sports Centre 3.30pm - 5 pm. The club is free and transport can be provided.
Basketball All Stars
Basketball training session for disabled people aged 12 years old upwards. The club runs from Manningham Sports Centre on Tuesdays (term time only) from 3.30pm - 5pm. Cost is �2.50 per session. Please contact the office for further information and to book your place.
Wheelchair Basketball (Bradford Jets)
A great opportunity to take part in a sport where a whole range of skills come into play, form stopping and shooting on the move, weaving in and out and blocking the ball and chair. This takes place at University Academy Keighley (UAK) on Thursdays (term time) from 6.30 - 7.30pm
You chance to do 2 sports in one night by taking part in the wheelchair rugby straight after Basketball. Learn new skills and develop game play in a friendly, fun environment. Sessions at University Academy Keighley (UAK). Session starts at 7.30 - 8.30pm.
Keighley Sports Academy
High quality sports provision for disabled people from the between the ages of 8 - 22 years old. The club is based at University Academy Keighley (UAK) on Wednesdays (term time) from 3.30 - 5.30pm. Participants get the opportunity to try a range of sports. The club physical activity session changes sports every 6 weeks. It is Free to attend
Opportunity for disabled people (aged 12 years upwards) to take part in powerlifting training. Sessions are held at Workouts Gym in Shipley on Thursdays between 7 pm - 8pm. Please contact Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure for more information and to book a place.
The cycle club is a great opportunity for disabled people (aged 8 - 80 years old) to cycle in a fun and safe environment. Sessions are held at Lister Park on Saturday mornings. Please contact the office for more information.
Physical Activity & Disabled People (PAD) Project
A session that offers a multitude of activities looking at physical activity and healthy lifestyles, all with a qualified coach and instructor. There is something for everyone, starting from 16+ years. There are 2 sessions that take place at Richard Dunn and Bradford College throughout the week.
The swimming club resides at Shipley Swimming Pool and has its sessions on a Tuesday from 4.30 - 6.00pm, cost of �3.50. There are opportunities to learn different stroke techniques as well take part in Swimming Galas. Please contact the office for more information.
