Although Churches Training was founded in 2014, our staff have been involved in other First Aid and Health and Safety training provision for some years previously. Some of our instructors have run their own companies while others have delivered First Aid training to major UK companies like G4S, Shell and the staff at the London Olympics in 2012.
As our name suggests, the company has a Christian backgound but our courses are open to all. The company was originally formed to teach First Aid to church members at a fraction of the cost that it was offered commercially. This enterprise then expanded to volunteers in charities and not for profit organisations, and now to members of the public and businesses. All our staff are DBS checked.
We also work closely with our sister company, Cousins Investigations and Training, who offer First Aid training in London and the home counties, and a national private investigation service. You can read more about them on their website.
Churches Training operate a two-tier pricing structure. churches, charities and not for profit organisations are allowed a discounted charity rate, which is also offered to the unemployed, and those in receipt of benefits. Everyone else pays our standard rate, which we still believe is one of the cheapest available in the country.
